About
Ynika Pocopio Yuag (they/them and she/her) is a theatre artist focused in directing, intimacy choreography, and new work development. She is from Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Ifugao people of Banaue, Philippines, and Siquijor, Philippines. They focus in consent-based, trauma-informed practices in directing and producing for the stage, specifically for stories of marginalized peoples, and they are most excited about collaborative and equitable processes. They are currently the New Work Fellow at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C.
